Its spreads mostly over the valley of the Rio Torrox. In the North
becomes narrower. The valley is flanked by the mounts Coscoja and
Ravita the Torrox, which mark the top of the district. The township
expands to spread over other two basins: Rio Seco in the East and
the Creek of the River Manzano, in the Wast. The vegetable gardens,
in the North of Torrox, display a very attractive landscape. They
join the banks of the river, forming enormous "stairs",
in which tropical crops stand out. When the valleys open to get out
to the littoral, the agricultural landscape spreads from East to west
with greenhouses. This way they can sell products of high market value
out of season. This makes the landscape slightly strange, combinig
greenhouses and tourist coastal development. |
